Natalie is a professional performer and teacher with the Goddess of the Dunes
belly dance company, and has been belly dancing
since 2001. She is proficient in fire sticks,
veil, sagat (finger cymbals), cane, Isis wings, and sword. Her
style is a combination of the Egyptian and
Turkish styles. She enjoys the composure of the
Egyptian style - the neatness of the moves and
the way it compliments the female form. She also
enjoys the freedom of the Turkish style - the
passion in shimmies and the excitement of it
all.
Natalie has been a professional performer since
2002 and has performed in Zambia, the
Seychelles and South Africa for Saudi royalty
and a variety of corporate clients.
She loves belly dance because
it allows her to be free and express herself in a
way that nothing else does. In short, it is her
passion!
how I got started
Natalie decided to start belly dancing when her sister came
home to show her the hypnotic movements she had learned
at her first belly dancing lesson. She knew the moment she
watched her that this was something she had to try out.
She has been in love ever since!
